Our Kāpiti Kānuka Havarti is buttery smooth and mildly aromatic. This incredible cheese won Gold at the 2019 NZ Cheese Awards and ranked 3rd best Havarti in the world at the 2020 Wisconsin World Champions of Cheese. The name Kānuka comes from the coastal New Zealand Kānuka tree that has beautiful white flowers and covers much of Kāpiti Island.
The smoothness of this Havarti provides the perfect platform for pairing. Try with coffee, chilli and honey, or matcha green tea.
